If you had information that could save your life or the life of a person you know would you want to know about it? if so watch this video
Are you surrounded by people who seem to always have a “word” or “quote” for everything and everyone but their outward life is contrary to there own language? Are you surrounded by people who seem to not want to see you grow?
If there is someone in your life that is always promoting growth and at the same time exhibiting insecurities and creating issues that never existed because people are not conforming to their lower standards then that person needs to use the mirror a bit more and start a fertilizing application.
Growth involves maturity. Maturity in more than just one area of life. Sometimes when you are a person who is clearly going places, and moving forward, there will be those in your circle who will not be able to handle it. You will know because no matter what you do, they will find something negative about it, in it, or around it, but will use quotes or sayings to make it seem like you moving forward is not a good thing.
I had to cut some friendship ties for some of the very reasons. I had a couple of “friends” who I really thought were true until I started talking about bettering myself, and having my own business. They thought of everything that could go wrong with my business instead of being happy for me and supporting me. One of them was always talking about how it’s best to get a job and retire from it, and how I wouldn’t have money like a job would pay and that I wouldn’t be successful for whatever reason. The other “friend” would always say things like “a man who don’t work don’t eat”… just crazy stuff! What did she think a business was? I quickly stop dealing with the both of them; afterwards I felt much better. I have my own business and it’s doing pretty well.
If you continue to stay in a circle where there is no support, constant bickering, others wanting you to stay on their level, you will find yourself becoming like them. There is a saying that if you hanging around with 9 broke people you will most likely become number 10.
If you choose to put your self in such a situation and stay there, you will start to feed off of that negative energy, and if you’re not careful you will become like them.
Remember, it’s lonely at the top, but go there any way and the right circle will be there for you.

Are there things in your life that you fear or you consider a challenge? Are there things you have said “ I wish I could do that?” Well, I did another thing that I had wanted to do that I considered scary and crazy!
My daughter actually went and I looked at the photos and thought oh wow I really do want to do that but it looked dangerous and scary! I decided to go anyway. When I walked into the building and got signed up, I watched this video about how to harness yourself and be safe and so forth.
As soon as I looked into the area where the high walls and boulders were, I thought “OMG” Because I don’t care for heights. I prayed and quickly overcame those thoughts and made the decision that there was no turning back. I got harnessed up and started on my first rock. It was very challenging! But God was with me!
The first time half way up, I fell off…yep all the way to the ground hanging by the rope because I had not grasp the idea of how to come down safely.
I persistently went up several more times and each time I got higher. (I finally grasp how to come down off the rocks without falling to the ground!)
Ultimately, I enjoyed the challenge. I learned a lot from this experience. Rock climbing is not just a physical challenge but it is mentally challenging. One of the lessons I learned is reaching my goal in getting to the top of the rocks is all about mindset and eliminating fear. I realize that if I was going to climb those rocks I had to make up my mind to eliminate fear and start climbing. I had to think about the end result. Another lesson learned is I’ve got to get in better physical shape (ha ha ) I realized that I really need to work out more and build both upper and lower body strength. A third thing I learned is sometimes you have to change your strategy. As I was trying to get higher up I realized that I kept stepping on the same rocks and going in the same direction and not being able to get any further than a certain point on the boulder. But when I change my direction and pattern in which I was climbing I seemed to get higher up. I also learned that anytime you are set out towards a goal you may fail a few times but if you keep going you will reach your destination. Be persistent.
In business, we must approach it in the same manner, with mindset shift, physical fitness, strategy adjustments, and persistency. If you are marketing one way and it’s not working, try another way. In life we need to not give up so easily because lets face it, challenges are going to be there no matter where you go or what you do; But how you face your challenges will determine how you overcome it.
So 4 lessons to be learned from rock climbing are :
- Mindset – Eliminating fear
- Physical fitness is important
- Sometimes you need to change your strategy
- Failure will happen but persistence is key

Are you drinking enough water?
Are you drinking enough water on a daily basis? Most of us are not. It is important to know and understand just how valuable drinking water is to the body. Nearly every living creature needs water: humans, plants, animals, insects…but I’m going to focus on the human for now.
It is said that the human brain consist of between 75 and 80 percent water. In order for our brain to function properly it needs proper hydration. When you are not getting enough water your brain tends to lose it’s efficiency.
Some people don’t realize when they are dehydrated. But if you seem forgetful a lot and things seem fuzzy at time, you may need to ask your self how much water have you drank because when you are not getting enough water it can effect short and long term memory.
If you work out, you need even more water then normal. Working out causes the body to sweat and therefore you lose fluids that need to be replaced as soon as possible.
My experience with not drinking enough came all too close to me having to go get checked out for something I didn’t realize had anything to do with drinking water. I while back my right wrist had swollen as if I had sprang it or something, but I hadn’t. I thought it over and over and I could not remember lifting anything or doing anything that would have caused my wrist to swell.
The next day, I went to get a massage as he began, he asked a series of questions to make sure that he would give me the right massage treatment. I told him about my wrist, he touched and immediately got on my case and asked me when the last time I had drank water was. I looked at him and told him it had been about a days because I had been so busy. He then explained to me that it was not healthy to go without water at any point, and that lack of water can do more than cause swelling. Since then water is my best friend.
Below are 8 Reasons to drink water:
- it helps the body maintain it’s proper fluids and keep the brain functioning properly.
- It helps with weight loss
- It helps keeps your muscles energized.
- It helps your skin to clear up
- Helps the bowels stay open
- Helps keep your kidneys working properly
- helps with mental clarity
- It’s also known to help with aching joints
So make sure you are getting enough water every day. How much you need depends on your individual body and activities you participate in.

How to Control Comments on Your Blogs
Blogging is one of the best ways to get your self notice and to get your information out to the world. However, many bloggers experience a lot of spamming in their comments section. People tend to fill your comments with their own links and ads.
The sole purpose for these spammers is to get your readers to buy their products. Many of them even appear to be real bloggers. To sum it up, they use your blog platform for advertisement and getting all of the profits.
A lot of these spammers put bad links on your site that link to porn, malware, and other malicious sites that can compromise your computer.
There are several ways to control this depending on the type of blog you are using.
I will begin by showing you how to control blog comments in your blog platform.
With WP you have the option of using a spam controller called “AKISMET”. This service is a Plugin and helps you keep unwanted comments from being left on your blog by automatically zapping spammers.
Whenever a new comment, trackback, or pingback is added to your site it’s submitted to Akismet web service that monitors millions of blogs and runs it’s detection on the comments and returns a accept or reject result. So you don’t have to spend extra time sorting through and deleting spam comments from your post.
How to install
Log in to your WP blog.
Look down the left side of your dashboard and go to “Plugins” and select it.
There will be a box on the right side and next to it it says “ search for plugins” . this is where you will type in Akismet. Once it comes up you will select “Install” upon installation you will select the Akismet plugin and choose “Activate”. Once activated you can edit it’s settings to your liking.
You can also use the “Fun Capcha” plugin so that when people comment they will have to type in the letters they are given. This ensures that the poster is human and not a spam bot.
You can also control comments on Blogger.
First, log in to your blogger account.
If you have several blogs, select the blog you want to control. Go down the left side and select “
settings” , then “Post and Comments” then under “Comments” adjust your settings.
Don’t allow your blogs to be taken over by spam. Don’t allow someone else to use your platform to make money for themselves.
Make it a great day!
It’s the beginning of a new year. Many of us have made New Year’s resolutions and set goals.
Each year some of us tend to go through the motions of setting goals, making resolutions, and making promises. But how many of us actually follow through with them? How many of us really have the drive and motivation to carry them out? Surprisingly there are a lot of people who lose motivation with in the first week of the new year.
The beginning of the year is not necessarily the best time to making resolutions because this is the time of year that most see it as “tradition”. There are two main ways to ensure yourself of carrying out your plans and goals. 1. Change your mental attitude. 2. Write them down.
Changing your mental attitude
The first step in accomplishing what you set out to do is getting your mind right and believe in yourself. No person had ever achieved their dreams or accomplished their goals by not believing in themselves. You must believe with all of your mind and heart that you can do what it is that you want to do. Remove all debris from your mind. To do this you can go for a quiet walk and practice thinking about what it is you want. Ask God to help you have a clearer thinking. Clear your mind of all doubts and disbelief and you can obtain anything you want to do in life. Your only limitations are the ones in your mind.
Many people give up prematurely because they fail to believe in themselves. You must realize that we are all born with the ability to believe and the ability to make choices.
Napoleon Hill talks about taking possession of your own mind. He states ” Whatever the mind can believe the mind can achieve”.
Get a clear picture in your mind of what you really want and then as I talk about in my next section….Write it down.
If you believe it I can happen for you.
Write it down
A goal is not a goal unless it is written. Once you have decided what you really want , write it down in a notebook or better yet make a vision board and put them in a place where you can see it consistently.
Read over your desires at least 3 to 5 times daily. Look at your vision board as often as possible at least 3 to 5 times daily as well.
Develop this habit by doing this everyday until it becomes a part of you, until it becomes second nature. You will eventually see a change in the way you see yourself. Do it until it seems automatic.
The main key is Don’t give up!

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Tim 1:7
There are a lot of “dream killers” out there. There are a lot of buried stories that have never been told; a lot of inventions that will never be experienced.
I heard a story about a man who was captured behind enemy lines in a war and was sentenced to be killed. The captain had given him two choices: face the firing squad, or go out the door. When he asked the captain what was beyond the door the captain told him unknown horrors. So the man decides to choose the firing squad. After it was all over the captain’s secretary ask what was behind the door, he said…freedom.
Many people never live their dreams because they are afraid of the unknown. Don’t allow “but” and “fear” keep you in the corner.
Take inventory of your talents, skills, and abilities; decide what you are good at and develop it. Step into your greatness. In order to build a house you must first establish to foundation and lay the first stone.

A lot of us fall because we loose site of our promise. Always remember that temptation is a temporary pleasure that for the moment seems better than the plan of God for your life. Don’t miss your promises or your blessing for a temporary pleasure of pleasing your flesh. Know that what the devil offers you is too good to be true. It could cost you a lot more than you are willing to pay.
Every shiny apple is not always good eat.
Think about it.
Taking Imperfect Action Making The First Step
Have you ever needed to do something but didn’t feel like it? or you “felt” that the time wasn’t right or you weren’t looking or feeling your best?
I was in this same situation. But this is not a good place to be in.
Opportunities come and opportunities go. Many opportunities are missed because maybe you didnt take action. You were waiting for that perfect moment or the right time to take action or respond.
Kevin Nations said it best when he said “Winners take Imperfect Action while other are perfecting their plans”
Here are a few things you can do to begin taking imperfect action:
1. Push Past Procratination
2. Make a To Do List
3. Set goals
4. Take small steps
If you want to start a business whether is on or off line you’ve got to start somewhere. One small step or one imperfect action is better than doing nothing at all
